1976 Eisenhower Dollars
No Eisenhower Dollars were produced carrying the date 1975. That year, production had already begun for the special Bicentennial Ike Dollars dated 1976. These coins have a reverse design featuring the Liberty Bell. Coins are found with two different reverse varieties.
The San Francisco Mint produced 40% silver coins in uncirculated and proof as well as clad proof. These 1976 Ike Silver Dollars were issued within three coin proof or uncirculated sets along with the quarter and half dollar bearing Bicentennial designs.
